What does A2 do?

The A2 design secures an unarmoured cable at the equipment entry. Its seal acts on the outer sheath, helping form the cable-entry connection.

Start selection with the actual cable outside diameter and the enclosure entry thread. A cable cross-section alone is not enough to choose the gland size.

Before you specify

Confirm cable construction, diameter, thread and installation environment. For armoured cable termination, ask about the relevant armoured gland family.
